Lincolnshire Agricultural and Rural Communities Fund (LARC)
The aim of the fund is to promote, support and strengthen rural communities, help farming families, agriculture and rural crafts. The Foundation will distribute £14,400 per year. Groups can apply for up to £2,000 and individuals can ask for a maximum of £300. Closing date for receipt of applications is 1 March and the 1st September.
Eligibility: Groups should be not for profit and volunteer led; have a governing document, bank account and relevant policies and procedures.
What can be funded? Countryside projects (walks, sustainability, conservation and volunteer training); craft and skills training (training materials, hedge planting, dry stone walling, butchery courses); Counselling, stress management, advice, diversity; Educational programmes (venue hire, transport, healthy eating, local food, farmers clubs); Bursaries for workshops and events.
