Richard was a founder trustee back in 2002. When High Sheriff of Lincolnshire, he inaugurated the £250,000 High Sheriffs’ Fund which has supported Rock Challenge for a decade. He has contributed to all sorts of charities and fund raising activities – not least St John Ambulance and St Matthew Housing. Having managed land professionally all his working life, his knowledge of the County is unmatched. Richard also has useful investment management skills, which he brings with him to our finance sub group meetings.
Lynda migrated to the County 15 years ago. She has gained experience from customer facing through to senior manager in the “welfare-to-work” field, managing Department of Work & Pensions and Probation contracts. Later Lynda founded and ran a community interest company in Spalding, supporting young people who had difficulties attending mainstream schools and colleges across Lincolnshire. Lynda now manages a Peterborough based training provider expanding its provision into the South of Lincolnshire. In addition to her trustee role she is a panel member for our Make-a-Start Fund. She is also an ice cream pioneer, with her very own designer range of flavours!
For many years Lizzie was attached to the Princes Trust – 10 of which as Lincolnshire chair. She now does a similar (voluntary) job for the Foundation, overseeing our Make-a-Start programme (small grants for personal development). She has expended huge amounts of energy on fund raising – not least “One Day More”: 3 days of outdoor opera at Doddington Hall.
Jane has had senior level experience in banking and real estate. Her past directorships include Rightmove Plc and Halifax Estate Agents Ltd. She sourced, founded and framed the Foundation’s influential Agricultural & Rural Communities/LARC Fund, which has made a real impact on farming education and events and supporting and advising people in need.

With the Foundation she leads on the development of our Domestic Abuse response: developing, commissioning and co funding service provision.
