Lincolnshire Traveller Initiative

The Evan Cornish Fund provided a grant to establish a parent/toddler group which operates twice a week (10am-2pm, Mon & Thurs) and Well Woman Group at the Washingborough site.

The toddler group is well established, with approximately 12 children and 2-3 adults attending.   The service helps develop the children’s learning abilities with activities such as messy play, games, stories, using technology, exploring the environment etc.

The Well Woman Group was established to engage with women, the Lincolnshire Traveller Initiative has arranged for visits to the site by a hairdresser, Oral Health and postnatal health care professionals. 15 adults have attended these sessions and it is anticipated that the take up for the Well Women’s Group will increase.
