Crisis and Resilience Fund: Heating Oil Support Scheme For Boston Borough - Status: OPEN
The CRF Oil Fund is a support fund established by Lincolnshire County Council to help low income and vulnerable households manage the rising cost of domestic heating oil.
Many homes in Boston rely on oil for heating, which is not covered by energy price protections and often requires large upfront payments. This fund provides targeted assistance to help ensure the most vulnerable residents can continue to heat their homes and access hot water.

- THIS GRANT APPLICATION IS OPEN TO BOSTON BOROUGH RESIDENTS ONLY
- PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS WHO ARE IN THE HIGHEST NEED OF SUPPORT.
- GRANTS WILL BE AWARDED AS AN E-VOUCHER FOR OIL VIA E-MAILFOR THE VALUE OF £300
- PLEASE NOTE: THIS SCHEME WILL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO 1 APPLICATION PER HOUSEHOLD.
Who can apply
We anticipate that this fund will be heavily oversubscribed. As a result, Lincolnshire County Council has proposed additional criteria to prioritise applications during the assessment process
APPLICANTS MUST
- Have low income (under £36,000 combined for household)
- Have savings of less than £6,000
- Not be on a mains gas supply and utilise heating oil as the primary fuel for heating and/or hot water
- Be at risk of losing immediate access to heating or hot water due to a lack of heating oil
- Be able to pay the difference between the vouchers value (£300.00) and the cost of the heating oil including delivery
Who can not apply
WE CANNOT ACCEPT
- Applications from applicants residing outside of Boston Borough
- Multiple applications from the same applicant
- Multiple applications from within the same household
- Applications where the household is not reliant on oil

Not all applications will be successful and the decision is final.
Only 1 application per Household will be processed, any duplicates will be automatically declined.
Each application is assessed by a member of our grants team on its own individual merit, it is therefore important you give as much detail as you can about your current situation.
