Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm Community Fund provided a grant to repair the safety surface and to replace broken safety locks on the two gates of the children’s play area in Flinders Park.

All the children from the local primary school use the park regularly, meaning over 300 children and adults have benefitted from the park, as well as the children in the neighbouring villages of Quadring and Bicker. The life of the play area itself has been prolonged following the repair of the surfaces, and the safety issue that the wearing of it had caused has been rectified. The installation of new locks prevents dogs from entering the play area, ensuring the safety of the children who use it.
