The Grimsby Food Kitchen

About

The Grimsby Food Kitchen helps over 50 people each week and is now open an extra day to meet demand. They bring people together in a warm and safe place to share food. For many, they have very few positive social interactions. Approximately 80 people attended the Christmas buffets and volunteers assist in preparing and serving food to homeless and vulnerable adults living in Grimsby.

The Food Kitchen provides an inclusive, supportive environment and serves hot meals to some of the most vulnerable members of the community in Grimsby. Many beneficiaries are either homeless or have faced addiction problems.

With the funding for new kitchen equipment, the Food Kitchen has been able to continue to provide hot food to vulnerable people in Grimsby. The Food Kitchen also supports those with addictions to access rehabilitation and recovery services
