Grant Overview

IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN SUCCESSFUL WITH OBTAINING FUNDING FROM LINCOLNSHIRE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, PLEASE NOTE PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO HAVE NOT RECEIVED FUNDING AND YOU MAY NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.

Refugees who have been here for some months may need support as they transition from living with a host to moving into their own home to live independently. At the same time, refugees who continue to arrive may need support to help them settle into their new environment. Any refugee fleeing their homeland of Ukraine can apply to the fund for support.

Grants are available for essential items up to £150 for individuals and £300 for families, although these are not cash grants.

Where an applicant is successful, Foundation staff will source the item(s) and arrange for delivery from the supplier. This may include electrical appliances for new homes or being able to cook homely dishes, to bicycles (including helmet and lock) to enable independence in commuting to home and school.

Note this is for item(s) and no cash payment will be made.

Applicants must: Ensure that they have read and understood the guidelines, be a displaced person or family from Ukraine, who have sought refuge in Lincolnshire.

This Fund builds upon an initial donation from the County’s current High Sheriff, Richard Lake, whose ambition is to inspire and support young people at risk of committing anti-social behaviour to encourage them to make good life choices and exercise better judgment. Recognising the importance of this issue, Members and Officers at the South East Lincolnshire Partnership have provided funding, matched by the High Sheriff and Lincolnshire Community Foundation to enable voluntary and community organisations based in the heart of their community to deliver diversionary youth services
