The Object of the Fund is to provide grant funding targeted at voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector organisations that deliver positive outcomes, supporting current and ongoing needs of people living close to the proposed Springwell Solar Farm (see map for included villages).

About the Grants
- Maximum grant award £1,000.00
- Closing dates: 1 November & 1 May
- Payments are usually made in advance
- Decisions are notified within 6-8 weeks of the closing date
- Applicants can only hold one grant at any one time
- All funds should be spent within a year of receipt unless otherwise agreed.
Eligibility:
Not for profit community groups, charities, and other organisations. All applicants should submit:
- Constitution/Governing document (advice available).
- Income and Expenditure Account (or last three months Bank Statements, if a new group)
- Quotes to support any cost over £200.
- Evidence that the balance of project costs is in place.
Groups must have a bank account in the organisations name, with a minimum of 2 signatories (unrelated, living at separate addresses) and have a committee of at least 3 people.
What can be funded:
For example, projects could include, but are not limited to:
- Reducing isolation and promoting cohesion
- Maintaining good health and mental wellbeing
- Promote connectivity (eg digital inclusion, peer support groups)
- Skills development
- Community/cultural activities and events
- Youth activities (including uniformed groups)
Priority will be given to smaller, local, volunteer led community groups requesting help to deliver projects and/or activities led for and on behalf of the community.
Project costs considered:
- Volunteer costs and expenses
- Resources and equipment
- Event costs (including refreshments & entertainment)
- Premises costs
- Sessional fees
- Digital resources
- Running costs & overheads and insurance
What cannot be funded:
- Statutory bodies such as district councils or health institutions.
- Political or predominantly religious activities.
- Statutory provision.
- Animal welfare.
- General contributions to large appeals.
- Improvements to land/buildings.
- Building work/purchase of vehicles.
- Grant making bodies applying for funding to redistribute to others.

Grant Management:
The grant scheme is managed by the Lincolnshire Community Foundation CIO (charity number 1196448).
Lincolnshire Community Foundation will use details submitted internally for administration purposes. As some of the information may be classified as “personal data” it will be processed in accordance with the rights and obligations of the Data Protection Act 2018.
