Household Support Funding For West Lindsey - Status: OPEN
Thanks to funding from West Lindsey District Council, we are pleased to once again offer the opportunity to distribute Household Support Funding in West Lindsey.
Applications opened on Wednesday 18th December, with funding potentially available until March 2025 (subject to availability, as funds may be fully allocated before this date).
Successful applicants may receive supermarket vouchers valued at up to £150.
To learn more about this scheme, please read the criteria and answer the eligibility questions at the beginning of the application form. This will provide full details of the offer, help you check your eligibility, and allow you to submit the information our team needs to assess your application.

- GRANTS WILL BE AWARDED AS SUPERMARKET E-GIFT CARDS VIA E-MAIL OF VALUE £100-150 DEPENDING ON HOUSEHOLD SIZE
- PLEASE NOTE: THIS SCHEME WILL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO 1 APPLICATION PER HOUSEHOLD. THIS IS NOT AN EMERGENCY GRANT SCHEME AND APPLICATIONS WILL BE ASSESSED MONTHLY
Priority Group
We anticipate this fund will become heavily oversubscribed, West Lindsey District Council have requested that the priority for the funding be
WORKING FAMILIES NOT ON BENEFITS
Unable to apply
Whilst not the priority group, households in receipt of benefits can apply to this scheme, however:
- Pensioners in receipt of pension credit will be unable to apply as support is already available through the winter fuel allowance.
- Households with 3 or more children in receipt of free school meals will be unable to apply as support is already available through schools for these children.
- Priority will be given to working families who are not in receipt of benefits.
Terminology
Benefits relate to Government means tested benefits which include: Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit, Income Support. (Child Benefit is NOT classed as a means tested benefit).
Working Families- This refers to households with more than two people living in the property where at least one person is working.
IMPORTANT NOTICE, PLEASE READ PRIOR TO APPLICATION
Please familiarise yourself with the full process prior to application, noting that our team will be in touch with you within 8 weeks of the application to give your outcome. Not all applications will be successful and the decision is final. Only 1 application per Household will be processed, any duplicates will be automatically declined.
Each application is assessed by a member of our grants team on its own individual merit, it is therefore important you give as much detail as you can about your current situation.
