The playground was resurfaced in green with a road inlay for the children to drive their vehicles around. It is used by all of the pre-school children and the village toddler group. In total, 66 children, toddler group staff and parents have benefitted. The majority live in Laceby, but some children travel from Grimsby and Caistor to the facility. The children are using their imagination more and talking about the road inlay discussing how it should be used. This is helping to improve their communication skills and road safety knowledge. More children are accessing the outdoor area due to the new playground which is healthier for them and they also enjoy running around the road inlay too.
